Rainforest Action Network 2014: A Year of Action

The People are challenging corporate power and fighting the root cause of climate change. Rainforest Action Network shares their successes from 2014.

2014 was a big year. Major Conflict Palm Oil traders committed to zero deforestation. More corporations instituted Conflict Palm Oil policies. More banks committed to stop funding mountain top removal. The Pledge of Resistance sent a powerful signal of the growing resistance to fossil fuels.

We marched with hundreds of thousands in the streets across the globe to make clear the climate movement is broad, diverse, and taking action.
