Human Rights Groups File Torture Charges against Bush-Era Officials in Germany

The Center for Constitutional Rights (CCR)and the Berlin-based European Commission of Human Rights (ECCHR) have joined forces to file torture charges against Bush-era officials.

Specifically, criminal complaints have been lodged against former CIA head George Tenet and former Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld, along with other individuals. Over 100 CIA agents have been warned by their legal representation to not leave the United States.

Attorney and human rights activist Michael Ratner explains what is involved. Ratner is a former president of the CCR, and currently serves as a board member of ECCHR.
