Greenhouse Browser Extension Exposes Elected Representatives and Their Campaign Donors

Greenhouse is a free browser extension that exposes money in politics as you are reading. You’ll see that the name of any Congress Member mentioned in an article is highlighted in light green. When you hover your cursor over a name, a popup box appears.

If you want more information about the elected representative and his/her campaign donors, just click on the OpenSecrests.Org link in the lower-right of the app.

The Greenhouse browser extension works in Chrome, Safari, and Firefox. (Sorry, there is no app for mobile devices.) I have installed the Greenhouse Chrome extension, and it works beautifully.

Greenhouse developer Nicholas Rubin is 17 years old. He says, ‘Some are red. Some are blue. All are green.’
