Doug Hughes: In the Heroes Gallery

[On his act of civil disobedience] 'It was worth risking my life, my freedom.' -- Doug Hughes

In a courageous act of civil disobedience, Doug Hughes landed a gyrocopter on the Capitol lawn to personally deliver 535 anti-corruption letters to each Member of Congress. April 15, 2015.

I created the new page ‘Heroes’ for Aware & Fair. It holds a photo gallery of some of the remarkable Americans I have covered on the blog. (Well, mostly American, but also International heroes.)

Doug Hughes happens to be one of the first such ‘celebrated’ heroes. The Heroes Gallery is a work in progress. 🙂
