The life-size bronze sculpture ‘Anything to Say?’ features whistleblowers Edward Snowden, Julian Assange, and Chelsea Manning. The three are posed standing on chairs — and the sculpture includes an empty forth chair.
A Place for Free Speech
The public is encouraged to stand on the forth chair to speak out their own messages. ‘This is a place for free speech,’ Italian sculptor Davide Dormino told the media.
A World Exhibition Tour
The German Green Party unveiled the sculpture in Berlin on Friday, May 1, 2015 during national May Day celebrations. ‘Anything to Say’ will soon embark on an exhibition tour of major cities around the world.
Perhaps you have a chance to stand on the empty chair. What would you speak out?
