The TPP Is About Corporate Power

If it isn’t clear what the most dangerous aspect of the TPP is, it’s about the ability of corporations to become more powerful than nations. This is dangerous to all people, all around the globe.

Contents of leaked [TPP] drafts make it pretty obvious why this is being pushed through in such a sneaky way. You might have heard some people focus on the probability that the TPP will cause the U.S. economy to lose jobs… Though this concern may be valid, it’s hardly the most dangerous part of the agreement.

The real danger lies in the way this agreement subverts the sovereignty of nations… This isn’t about trade. This isn’t about jobs. This is about power. Power that is being covertly shifted farther and farther away from the people.

This is about the overthrow of democratic principles. It should be seen as traitorist act and anyone who signs it should be thrown into jail.

Yes in full agreement with you here.. “This isn’t about trade. This isn’t about jobs. This is about power. Power that is being covertly shifted farther and farther away from the people.”…. Totally agree!
