President Carter: Mistreatment of Women Is #1 Human Rights Abuse

The number one abuse of human rights on Earth is the abuse of women and girls.

— President Jimmy Carter

Former President Jimmy Carter explains the reasons why women are mistreated in the United States and around the world:

  • Scripture misinterpretation
  • Excessive resort to violence
  • Men don’t give a damn (as they quietly accept male privilege)

I agree with Pres. Carter when he says one of the major obstacles is that the average man does not care because he gains from male privilege. True statement as my workplace is a hotbed of sexual harassment but since men are in charge male abusers are rarely punished.

  3. Jimmy Carter is probably the best president in U.S. history.

Fundamentally, male domination throughout human history has been at the root of all problems on this planet.

    1. How did that happen? When you consider that, biologically, males are the expendable ones… and that over the eons they have basically served as cannon fodder in all wars… ?
