Mobile Showers for the Homeless in San Francisco (Video)

There are thousands of homeless people living in San Francisco. The city has not yet figured out what to do with them. (Unlike Utah.) Meanwhile, Lava Mae is “delivering dignity one shower at a time.”

Lava Mae is a nonprofit with an interesting idea. They convert old donated city buses into mobile shower units for homeless people, bringing them health, hygiene and humanity. ~ AJ+

What an amazing initiative! A big hug and thank you to people who make a difference, one shower at a time.

Exactly. Utah found a way to do it. Let’s hope other states/cities follow suit.

It can be done alright, if there is a will to do it. What kind of society do we want to live in?

How about a society that understands we are all interrelated? I.e., we can’t allow one part to be damaged without compromising the whole. Very much like the ecosystem….

If they don’t smarten up they are going to find this out in a very disastrous way.
