An Open Letter from Jill Stein to California Voters | Jill 2016

This piece by Jill Stein is a “must-read” for all Progressives!…

SOURCE: Jill 2016

“[…] Sure there are differences between Trump and Clinton, but not enough to save your job, your life, or the planet. It’s Bernie, not Hillary, who is solidly beating Trump in the polls. And besides, the lesser evil is not a solution to the greater evil – because people stop coming out to vote for what’s throwing them under the bus, as we saw in the 2014 mid term elections. The real solution to Trump is revolutionary progressive policies. And that will only come from the agenda of economic and racial justice shared by Bernie’s and my campaigns.” […] ~ Jill Stein

I met Jill Stein in 2002 when she ran for governor of Massachusetts, and I campaigned for her. I voted for her for president in 2012. I’d do it all again. She’s a strong candidate who deserves a lot more exposure than she’s getting.

Thanks for your input, Victoria! The Green Party hasn’t had a big profile in U.S. politics, but hopefully that is changing with the great Democratic Party Divide we now have. The Greens have a great platform. 🙂

My daughter and son-in-law dropped their Green Party membership to vote for Bernie in the Democratic Primary but will rejoin in the next few months. Apparently a lot of Oregon Greens pursued this strategy, as you have to be a registered Democrat to vote in the Oregon primary.

I like the Green Party. They have only a small presence in the US, compared to other countries. Hopefully, that will be changing. Progressive or Bust!
