We can make legally beer and wine at home for personal consumption in most states (despite how addictive alcohol is), but we can’t – since 1938 – grow a medicinal herb anywhere in US without fear of federal prosecution. We learned nothing – not one damn thing – from the bloody mess of putting a welcome mat out for criminal elements through the prohibition of alcohol. One has to wonder at this point if we’re merely stupid or if we’re instead criminally insane to spend so much of our local, state and federal budgets on policing, prosecuting and incarcerating marijuana users.

As soon as legitimate research indicates marijuana may cure cancer, then Big Pharma wants it. With their helpful mate, Big Ag, they can GMO it into a non-natural substance, and slap a patent on it.

It’s interesting to note that Big Pharma and Big Ag out-trump Big Prison and Big Drug Cartel now-a-days.

I sure hope people will be able to grow it at home.
