Last week the U.S. Senate passed watered-down GMO labeling legislation. Step two, the House will most likely pass it. And that will be that, unless President Obama should unexpectedly veto the bill.

The new federal GMO legislation will void the comprehensive GMO labeling bill Vermont just put into effect July 1, 2016. It is a big win for corporations, and a sorry loss for consumers.
