Join “Our First Stand” on Jan. 15 to Save Health Care

Summary:

Bernie announced the new Democrat Party plan to hold a series of rallies across the country on January 15, 2017. The rallies are called “Our First Stand: Save Health Care” and will oppose the Republican Party’s aim to repeal the Affordable Care Act.

Did you catch Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT) on The Rachel Maddow Show this week? In his role as Outreach Chair for Senate Democrats, Bernie outlined the new plan to hold a series of rallies across the country on January 15, 2017. The rallies are called Our First Stand: Save Health Care and will oppose the Republican Party’s attempt to repeal the Affordable Care Act, as well as protect Medicare and Medicaid.

You can bet that future rallies will be just as strategic.

“The real action to transform America won’t take place on Capitol Hill, it will be in the grassroots of America among the millions struggling economically and young people.”

How to Find or Organize a “First Stand” Rally

Facebook is the best place to find where First Stand rallies are being held. If you want to organize a First Stand rally in your area, use the event planning tool at Our Revolution. (Look at the Olympia, WA rally; it’s a good model.)

A hard-working Independent for the Democrat Party, Bernie Sanders also serves as Ranking Member of the Senate Budget Committee.

Chester

Chester is a scruffy little Bichon dog, with a congenial Napoleon Complex, and stars in "The Chester Chronicles." He sometimes reports independent Canine News -- NO corporate treats accepted, NO corporate bias. Woof!
