Economic Update: Collective Action for Change | Democracy At Work

Another fascinating economic update…

Prof. Richard Wolff reports that the Chicago Sun Times was recently bought by new owners who say they will return it to its working-class roots, and he discusses the economics of the free press. Wolff also reveals how so-called “jobs” deals actually subsidize corporate profits (while creating few new jobs). And he tells us about the new Museum of Capitalism in Oakland, California, where artists exhibit works that challenge the economic system of capitalism.

Be aware. Be objective.
