Roots Action co-founder Norman Solomon provides a thoughtful commentary on Bernie Sanders’ foreign policy speech of September 21, 2017. • About time the left came back to its roots. Clinton had lost her bearings on these issues, and that’s one reason she lost. Trump sort of alluded to some of these issues, but he doesn’t have neither the moral fibre nor the spine to stay the course. Throughout my travels in the US, was also my experience that the American people were tired and exhausted of military adventurism, notwithstanding that these expeditions are breaking the piggy bank – money that would have been better spent on health, education, infrastructure.
