Can a Broadway Show Take Down a Sitting President?

Michael Moore is a most determined and amazing political commentator — particularly when you consider what a “shy guy” he is. Broadcast journalist Amy Goodman interviews the renowned filmmaker about his new Broadway play, The Terms of My Surrender. (Don’t miss the great activist stories from Moore’s youth).

“We speak with Michael Moore, the Academy Award-winning filmmaker behind “Michael Moore in TrumpLand,” “Fahrenheit 9/11,” “Bowling for Columbine” and “Sicko.” Now, Moore has added theater production to his list of accomplishments with his debut play, The Terms of My Surrender. He launched the production with the question, “Can a Broadway show take down a sitting president?” and lays out a roadmap of what he believes needs to happen next.” ~ Democracy Now!

Michael Moore made a point that we need to sustain our protests to make good on the will to defeat Trump.

Right on! Besides, even when we win, we need to continue. The opposition never rests.

From being “a really shy kid,” Michael Moore has come a long way and steered the course as a true American patriot. Speaking from his experience at the age of 17years, he points out that “[we] can affect change by doing a little tiny thing.”

Moore also cautions listeners that our president “is not a joke.” As demonstrated over the issue of NFL players disrespecting our flag, our president has mastered the art of distracting we the people from the real issues.

Two important points that Moore makes. Thanks for highlighting them, Rosaliene.

Yes do not take the bite of his Twitter distractions. It only makes us the victim.

Right on! I do not follow tRump on Twitter, and I do not blog about him. Did notice that Robert Reich is calling him “irrelevant.” Search for that article. You will enjoy. 🙂
