New Resource: “The 2018 Progressive Candidates & Ballot Initiatives — a Nationwide List”

We are fast approaching the 2018 primary season. To help Progressives stay up-to-date with all the outrageously “unbought and unbossed” 2018 candidates, as well as some crazy, wild, wonderful ballot initiatives, I have devised an information resource to make staying informed easier:

The 2018 Progressive Candidates & Ballot Initiatives;
A Nationwide List (Link)

As I put The List together, reviewing candidate websites, articles, and interviews, I was overwhelmed by the talent, courage, and heart these candidates possess. Some sport a professional polish, others exude irrefutable down-home commonsense, a few have a quirky life-expertise about them — and they’re all determined to serve the public, instead of big money.

When we get enough of these fiercely independent men and women into office, we won’t need to repeal Citizens United or amend the Constitution. When candidates-of/for/by-the-people are elected, all that “money is speech” rhetoric becomes irrelevant.

Caring is sharing. Help the candidates, as you help your friends stay informed. Democracy or bust!
