I will probably never make this recipe, but for those of you who find working in the kitchen relaxing — this is how you would prepare a supreme version of fried cod cakes, without the fish. (I would just like to eat them!) Master vegan chef, Connie of RAWsome Kitchen, created a video to show us how.

As she cooks, Connie notes the difference between “vegan” and “plant-based” eating:

“Vegan, by the way, has to do for animals. It has nothing to do with you. The word “vegan” is that you’re doing it for the animals. If you say, I’m not doing it for the animals, I’m doing it for health, then you’re plant-based, not vegan, right?”
