The Ancient Wool Dogs of the Pacific Northwest, and Me

Anthropological studies confirm that ancient Pacific Northwest indigenous people bred a smallish, whitish, domestic dog for its wooly fur. It was a long time ago, but I have something in common with the Wool Dog: good fur genes.
