  • Rejects corporate money
  • Supports single-payer Medicare for All

[The] issue of gerrymandering was brought to the Supreme Court earlier in 2019, but the Court declined to take a stand against it, saying it’s out of federal jurisdiction. Such inaction against a clear problem is unacceptable. As your congressmen, I will fight for real change to the way districts are drawn (such as independent commissions or using algorithms), and advocate for electoral reform.

Maryland is holding a special election for Congressional District 7 to fill the seat of late Rep. Elijah Cummings. The Special Primary Election will be held on February 4, 2020, and the Special General Election will be held on April 28, 2020.
